Hemi's aura in panel 2 should be blue as has been observed by "Mrs. Rita", our local medium (yes, the one from the Gin Blossoms song.)
Tie turning into snake bit is lifted from Boris Vallejo, who lifted it from Escher.
Spiro uses chemicals (pesticides?) for the purposes of personal entertainment with impunity and suffers no harmful repercussions. Wrong wrong wrong!
VileTerror's "Mel" has pipe out of the wrong side of his mouth.
Reference to the candy known as "PEZ" is dated and would not be understood by most modern youngsters.
