Phalanx says:
You know what? That's a pretty fair mickey-take of Penny Arcade.
Interestingly, tacking on the names at the end of a normal conversation works better than a full-blown intro:
Hero: I am TEH HERO! Avenger of the weak! Justice of the Defenceless!
Villian: I am the terror! the villian that will wreak misery upon your already miserable lives!
Nuff said.
mcDuffies says:
Oh no, Goobla, you started it! Now, Penny Arcade will link us, causing massive income in visitors, which will probably crash our site together with whole Keenspace ;-) Actually I'm not a Penny Arcade reader, so I can't say much on this stuff except that I really don't know why are characters always so afraid of being introduced to readers.
Terotrous says:
This is a reference to this Penny Arcade strip.
It was a parody when they wrote it, so I don't know what it is now.
Parody once removed?
