Hmmm... I'd really like to go on a quest too, but I never saw a quest in my life. Have you? Last kind-of-quest was when my mom asked me to bring three onions from cellar. It was not much, although cellar was full of spiders.
And I'd like that quest not to be much dangerous. Actually, I'd like it to look dangerous to other people. That way I could be a hero.
Joke on a side, 'quest' is one very artificial concept. It's certainly too forced to be as common as it is now.
Also, avoid deus-ex-machina (instant solution to a problem of a character, out of nowhere, without any reasonable circumstances for it). It's not good as a joke, either.
