How Not To Do Filler #5

Contributed by NoemZ of Zeera the Space Pirate

mcDuffies says:

If you have more fillers than comics, maybe you should start a filler site. If you have more than ten fillers, you should think about reducing the schredule.
I prefere a short notice "no comic today" with perhaps an apology. Fillers do nothing to me, I'm not interested in them. If I want art, I go to gallery section.
Before you put art, think if it's worth putting up. With art, there's no script to 'save the day' and compensate for crummy art.
Be realistic. Don't take yourself too seriously.

Phalanx says:

One thing that amuses me is to see comics that have 5-10 readers post self-important blogs that span longer than the comic. Another thing that amuses me is that when they update, they pretty very profuse apologies, post crappy filler at that on one wants to see and sometimes beg for guest comics if there's a gap of only a week.

Honestly, lighten up. Even filler art by Fred Ghallagher annoys me, I'm not likely to treat any other filler art any different.
