How Not To Do An Action Scene #3

Contributed by Grace Smith of Because of Math Class

Phalanx says:

The problem with the 'action' here is that the characters stand around in static poses and the 'stab' is simply the extension of the arm. Silly, really.

And that yellow paper and handwriting is hidieous. mcDuffies says:

1. Bad spelling.
2. Artistic vision? If you're gonna feature extreme violence in the comic, announce it at the beginning.
3. Yellow paper.
4. Text overlaping characters, which is even worse here, because action scene is mainly visual so you have to make it clear what's going on.
5. Most of action scene is just an argument.
6. Stap pose doesn't look like he's really stabbing.
7.Last panel is too self-explanatory.
